Double Glazed Acoustic Systems and Branded Hardware: Elevating Workplace Design Across Vietnam

Modern workplace environments today are expected to deliver more than just functionality. Across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region, companies are increasingly prioritising office spaces that balance acoustic comfort, workplace flexibility, aesthetics, and employee experience within a single environment.

A recently completed workplace project in Vietnam for a global lifestyle and consumer brand reflects this growing shift in workplace expectations.

The project incorporated T1 Glass double glazed acoustic partition systems with STC ratings of up to 45, designed to support stronger sound insulation performance while maintaining the openness and visual connectivity often associated with contemporary office design. As hybrid work, collaboration, and focused work zones continue to coexist within the same workplace, acoustic performance has become a key consideration in how offices are planned and delivered.

Double glazed glass partition systems are increasingly used in modern corporate offices because they allow spaces to achieve higher levels of acoustic privacy without sacrificing natural light or spatial flexibility. Compared to conventional enclosed construction, acoustic glazing systems provide a cleaner and more adaptable workplace solution while supporting workplace wellbeing and productivity.

However, workplace systems today are no longer defined by acoustic performance alone.

There is also a growing emphasis on the finer details that shape the overall workplace experience. Hardware, finishes, and system integration now play a larger role in how office environments are perceived visually and functionally.

For this project, the integration of T1 branded hardware complemented the acoustic partition systems, creating a more cohesive and refined workplace environment. Beyond functionality, branded hardware contributes to consistency in detailing, user experience, and overall design identity throughout the space.

This reflects a broader direction within workplace design across the built environment industry.

Companies are no longer selecting systems solely based on technical requirements. Increasingly, there is a demand for solutions that combine performance, aesthetics, durability, and design consistency within a unified workplace strategy.

As more organisations continue expanding across regional markets such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the wider Asia Pacific region, workplace expectations will continue evolving alongside them.

Acoustic performance, flexibility, sustainability, and integrated workplace detailing are becoming increasingly interconnected in shaping the future of modern offices.

Projects like this demonstrate how workplace systems today are moving beyond basic functionality — towards creating environments that perform better, feel better, and leave a stronger impression over time.
