How T1 Glass Embeds Sustainability from Product Innovation to Procurement with EcoVadis scoring
Sustainability in the built environment is becoming an essential part of how projects are designed and delivered. For many developers, architects, and corporate real estate teams, the focus today is not just on performance and design but also on working with partners who can support responsible, transparent practices.
One of the ways companies are being evaluated is through platforms like EcoVadis, which assesses sustainability performance across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Achieving a Platinum rating
— placing in the top 1% globally
— reflects a strong level of commitment and consistency across these areas.
For T1 Glass, this milestone is not seen as a finish line, but part of an ongoing journey. Sustainability is something we are continuing to build into different parts of how we work, from product development to procurement and project delivery.
At the product level, our acoustic partition systems are designed with durability, lifecycle performance, and long-term usability in mind. The intention is to create solutions that can perform consistently over time, reducing the need for frequent replacement while supporting comfortable and functional work environments.
On the procurement side, we are working towards strengthening how materials are sourced and managed. This includes collaborating with responsible suppliers, improving visibility across the supply chain, and aligning with recognised ESG practices. It’s an area we continue to refine as expectations across the industry evolve.
We also recognise the growing importance of transparency. With the completion of our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) reporting and broader ESG initiatives, we aim to provide clearer insights into how our systems perform across their lifecycle. This helps support clients who are working towards Scope 3 reporting, green building certifications, and more sustainable project outcomes. For us, sustainability is not about having all the answers but about making steady, meaningful progress.
As the built environment continues to evolve, we see this as an opportunity to learn, improve, and work alongside clients and partners to create spaces that are not only functional and well-designed, but also more responsible over time.
